Remnant Designs Isle of Skye is a small local business based in Portree on the Isle of Skye. All items are designed and put together by Laura Caldwell, owner and sole trader of the business. As a sole trader, customers are valued and it is the aim of Remnant Designs Isle of Skye to make pieces/products which you will love and a service that will have you returning and recommending.

ORDER INFORMATION

Ordering from Remnant Designs Isle of Skye is easy. You can view all products and place an order via the secure online shop at www.remnantdesigns.co.uk. If you require a bespoke item to be made please complete the 'contact me' form with details of your request and I will contact you at the earliest convenient time.

If for technical reasons you are unable to process your order online or prefer to order by telephone, you can contact me on 0779 1111 449. If I am unable to take your call at that time, please, leave your name and full telephone number, along with the nature of your call and I will contact you at the earliest convenient time.

Items are made to order and, under normal circumstances, despatched within 5-10 working days of cleared payment. Please note on approach to Christmas and/or holiday periods it is best to pre-order at least 3-4 weeks in advance to avoid disappointment.

Please note an order is not complete until payment has been received and you have had confirmation of your order. An estimated date of delivery will be provided with the confirmation of order.

Returns are accepted as long as items have not been worn or damaged. Return postage costs will be borne by the purchaser. See Returns Policy below for full details.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Online payments will be processed through PayPal and you can either pay using your PayPal account if you have one, or by giving your credit card details. If you are placing your order by telephone then an invoice will be sent via PayPal to your email account and no bank details shall be taken from you.

(Be safe with PayPal. It offers the highest level of security when it comes to online payments. You can pay in a few clicks without revealing your card details if you have an account. If not you can securely enter your details online.) If you would like to open a PayPal Account you can do so at www.PayPal.co.uk

CARD PAYMENTS

Remnant Designs Isle of Skye accepts all the major debit and credit card and you can pay by Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, American Express, Solo or Switch via our website.

CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

If you wish to change your order please contact me by email at info@remnantdesigns.co.uk as soon as possible quoting your details and order number. Orders are normally processed immediately so I may have already started working on your order.

Cancellations or changes must be made within 24 hours of the order being placed to ensure a full refund can be made.

Cancellations or changes made after 24 hours may be liable for the full amount.

If you are cancelling your order please email cancellation@remnantdesigns.co.uk as soon as possible quoting your details and order number.

RETURNS POLICY

Please inspect your order upon receipt and notify me within 48 hours of any damages. If the parcel has been visibly damaged in any way, please make a note of this when you sign for the parcel and notify me immediately, retaining any packaging.

As items are made to order therefore returns cannot be generally accepted unless your item is damaged or the order incorrect.

When returning an item, please include your name, address, contact number, order details and the reason for return. When returning goods, please obtain a "Proof of Postage Certificate" from your post office, since Remnant Designs Isle of Skye cannot be held responsible for parcels lost on return. (It is recommended that you use Royal Mail Next Day Delivery service to ensure safe and speedy return delivery).

Please note that Remnant Designs Isle of Skye is not responsible for return postage and the delivery charge on the original order is non-refundable.

In the unlikely event of Damaged or faulty goods being dispatched, a full refund will be made (including postage) upon receipt of returned goods or an exchange can be arranged.

Unfortunately Remnant Designs Isle of Skye cannot refund or exchange used or customer damaged items. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Costume jewellery can be extremely delicate so I recommend that you follow the Jewellery Care Instructions shown here. This will help it last and keep it's original look.
